Scott was named the President and CEO of the Tyler Economic Development Council and CEO of the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce on July 28, 2020 after serving as President of the North Louisiana Economic Partnership since 2013. In a career spanning over 20 years, he has worked directly on projects culminating in over $1.1 billion in direct capital investment. Martinez has served in economic development roles in the Houston and Austin, Texas markets, North Louisiana, and his home state of Mississippi. Scott is a native of Laurel, Mississippi and earned a bachelor’s degree from Ole Miss as well as a Master of Science degree in Economic Development from the University of Southern Mississippi. He has been designated a Certified Economic Developer by the International Economic Development Council and serves on its Board of Directors and Governance Committee.

Henry worked for 14 years with what is now Regions Bank in Tyler and has been with the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce for over 35 years where he is currently President. He has added responsibilities for the Tyler Convention and Visitors Bureau referred to as Visit Tyler and SPORTyler as well.  He currently serves as President of the Board of Mosaic Counseling and board member for Champions for Children and Tyler Sister Cities.

Grant was named Chief Operating Officer in the Fall of 2024. A Tyler native, he is a graduate of Grace Community School in Tyler and a 2015 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management. He previously served as the Assistant City Manager for the city of Graham, Texas as well as the Executive Director of the Graham Economic Development Corporation. He originally joined the Graham Chamber of Commerce in 2019 in the role of Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Manager after working as Director of Operations for a Wyoming guest ranch.  In the past, he served as President of the Rotary Club, President of the Young County Leadership Program and as a Board Member of Texas Forts Trail Region.

Joining the organization in April 2026, Shellie oversees the Chamber’s fiscal health and internal processes. With a career spanning over three decades, her background includes significant tenures in senior financial management. Prior to relocating to the Tyler area, she played a key role in the financial operations of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) in Dallas. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas and an MBA with an emphasis in Accounting from Texas Woman’s University. She is proud to contribute her extensive experience to the growth and prosperity of the Tyler region.

Member Engagement Manager : MARY-HELEN SCHURICHT

Mary-Helen joined the team as Member Engagement Manager in April 2026. She grew up in Tyler and graduated from Bishop Gorman Catholic School in 2019 before going on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Texas A&M University in 2023, graduating cum laude with a minor in English and a Social Media Certificate. Prior to joining the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce, she worked at The Association of Former Students of Texas A&M University as the Fundraising Assistant. With a background in Fundraising and Marketing, Mary-Helen is passionate about creating meaningful connections and engaging member experiences.
