Art of Chocolate is a special evening of fun, art, and chocolate. All proceeds benefit Champions for Children. 2020 brings the 4th year of this celebration of all things chocolate and all things art in the same space-the gorgeous home of Lisa and Michael Lujan. Champions for Children helps children birth to 19 years who struggle with ADD/ADHD, autism, developmental delays, depression, self-esteem issues, anxiety, coordination, behavior disorders, and so much more. There is no other organization like Champions for Children in East Texas. Champions prioritizes quality early education programs and early intervention to provide our youngest East Texans with the foundation they need to lead a happy and healthy life. Did you know: 1 in 59 children has a diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder 1 in 5 children has aggressive, over-active behaviors 1 in 5 children (ages 2-10) has a mental, behavioral or developmental disorder Suicide rates have doubled for girls and jumped 30% for boys in the past four years Champions believes all children deserve to be happy and healthy, but sometimes happy and healthy is hard!
