LUNCHEON
The East Texas Kickoff Luncheon is an annual event sponsored by Azalea Orthopedics and Texas Spine and Joint Hospital. It is held in August of each year and is a kick off to the football season in East Texas. The luncheon honors one student athlete from each school. Please watch for more details on this year’s event.

The 2009 East Texas Kickoff Luncheon invited 40 local and area high schools and college programs to the event. Head coaches, administration and one player represented each school. Guest speaker was Bobby Taylor, former Longview Lobo, Notre Dame, and NFL Defensive Back. Emcee for the luncheon was CBS 19 TV Sports Director, Eric Sullivan. A $250 scholarship was given to each athlete in attendance thanks to Azalea Orthopedics and Texas Spine and Joint Hospital.
