KICKOFF
LUNCHEON
The 2011 East Texas Kickoff Luncheon was held Wednesday, August 24th from 11:30 to 1:00 at the UT Tyler Ornelas Activity Center. This event marks the beginning of the football season in East Texas. Forty area high schools, junior colleges and colleges were invited to attend and bring one senior athlete to receive a $250 scholarship from our sponsors Azalea Orthopedics and Texas Spine and Joint Hospital.

Guest speaker was Grant Teaff, former Baylor Bear Head Coach and current Executive Director of the American Football Coaches Association. Emcee of the event was Bryan Houston, CBS 19 TV News Anchor. Lunch was provided by Spring Creek BBQ. Highlight video was done by CBS 19 TV Sports Director, Eric Sullivan.
